January 8th and 9th- Apple Pie and Legal Seafoods

Yesterday I woke up and had a bowl of Multi grain cheerios for breakfast around 9 am. For lunch, I had leftover chicken lombardi. For dinner we had a meal that I've never actually had before: chicken and dumplings. It was really, really good and right up my alley. For dessert, I had the best apple pie I've ever had in my entire life. I can't even begin to describe it but the secret ingredient was sour cream.

This morning I had another bowl of Multi grain cheerios again around 9 am. I had leftover chicken and dumplings and a piece of apple pie for lunch. For dinner Jody, Ava and I went down to this place called Cityplace  in West Palm Beach. We met up with my good friend Jonas and his friend Lauren. Now any meal with Kris Jonas is a great meal, but this meal was particularly good because we ate at Legal Sea Foods. If you are wondering, there are 31 locations so I am allowed to eat there. We had two bottles of Riesling and the Crispy Montauk Calamari Trio for appetizer. This trio consisted of regular calamari, Rhode Island style (hot peppers and garlic) and Thai style (pineapple and peanuts). I had the New England Clam Chowder as well. For my main dish I had the Florida Grouper with Blue Claw Slaw which came with a Spicy Red Pepper sauce and fried plantains. The fish was really, really good and the best part of the dish was the fresh avacado that came as part of the slaw.

Tomorrow I hope to have my top 5 "Breaded Chicken Finger Foods" from fast food places. The fast food places that I have decided to include in my lists are: Wendys, McDonalds, Burger King, Chick Fil-A, Sonic, Arbys, KFC, Checkers, and of course Taco Bell. I chose these restaurants and left others out because these are the ones with which I have the most experience. I will do future lists that involve sit down restaurants.
